Maui Wowi

I love going to Hawaii! Yes, the family goes twice a year, but it NeveR gets old! We usually do a lot of the same kind of things, but we also add some other fun things in as well. Big Beach is definitely the greatest beach ever! Nice waves, great snorkeling (10+ turtles one day), awesome tide pools (fish, starfish, crabs, etc.), and lots and lots of sand! We also went to Black Rock (of course) and heard whales while snorkeling and then jumped off the rocks into the ocean below :) Always a great time!! We did the road to Hana one day and stopped at the Black Sand Beach, Venus Pools (new adventure, which was so worth it! Jumped off 30ft cliff into freshwater pools right by the ocean), and did a small hike to a waterfall by the Seven Sacred Pools (since they wouldn't let us swim there-idiots!!). We tried a few new beaches, saw a ton of whales breaching, ate lots of Lappert's and Maui Tacos, and got a lot of fun and relaxation in for Spring Break! :P

I can't wait for Kauai in June!

The San Diego

So I went to San Diego for a long weekend to spend time with the old roomies and play in the sun :) It was very fun to see them and to get out of Provo and do something a lil different for a change! We went to Balboa park and strolled, went to the beach (of course), laid by the pool and got some sun, bonfired at the beach, walked down the pier and checked out hot surfers, rock band, cut throat (mafia, but cooler), and ate a heck of a lot! It was super fun and I was obviously a lil upset to have to head back to Utah, except that I leave again in 4 days for Maui :) Hehe so happy bout that!!
PS~ don't be a hater just cuz I go on cooler trips than u...

Here I am now, back in Utah, ready to do some subbing and whatever else comes my way I guess...

church

So church is pretty great...I mean you learn so many new things every week even if you've heard them a million times before. It's all about letting the spirit guide your mind and your heart so that you hear what you need at that time. Plus, I get to associate with other young adults that are just trying to figure life out the same way I am. I should be better about going to fhe and activities and that is a goal of mine for this semester that I am planning on keeping up on...I also want to be better about reading my scriptures daily and allowing the spirit to have a larger influence in my everyday life. I'll keep ya posted on how that's going...

You're only young once...and you're never old twice!

special

So I have this friend...she is a little bit odd, but that's why I love her so dang much! She can almost always make me smile and she keeps me from going insane a lot of the time. I cannot even begin to describe how grateful I am to have found her...and in one of the places I least expected...I don't think I could have made it through last semester without her help and her support (in multiple areas). Sometimes I wonder how I could have gotten to be so lucky in situations like these, but mostly I'm just glad that someone is watching out for me and making sure I'm taken care of...even when I think I'm at the very end of my rope. If you're reading this, and you're probably the only one reading this, you know who you are...and I LOVE YOU!!! :)
